Come learn about NAMI's two free education programs, Parents and Teachers as Allies, a teacher in-service that educates on mental health and suicide prevention and Hope for Tomorrow, a curriculum for students that increases their help-seeking behaviors through educating them on the signs and symptoms of mental illness and suicidal ideation and encourages them to reach out.

Julie Schwartz is the school-based prevention manager at NAMI Utah. She conducts educational workshops for teachers, parents and teens on mental illness and suicide prevention and manages the Hope for Tomorrow and Parents and Teachers as Allies curriculum.
