Biography for Michelle Porcelli

Michelle is an award winning Author, Counselor, and Professional Speaker. When she first stepped into the classroom and saw hundreds of faces staring back at her, she knew she was home. She has been a certified teacher for 20 years, and a School Counselor for 10 years.

She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from Brigham Young University and a Master of School Counseling degree from University of Phoenix in 2010.

She is an instructor for BYU Independent Study and has been a speaker for the Especially For Youth program in Provo, Utah. She is currently a presenter for the United Way of Utah County.

She was the Director for the Alpine District Young Mother’s program for 10 years. She later became a school counselor for Lehi High School and then a counselor at Skyridge High School. Michelle is loving her current position as head counselor at two Title One Elementary Schools: Bonneville and Sharon Elementary. She loves her young students and the lessons she learns from them every day.

She resides in Utah County with her 5 children, three dogs, and 1 husband. She loves chocolate, sunshine, and homemade bread.
